Mugen Seiki is excited to announce the NEW MTC3 electric touring car kit. The MTC3 is an evolution of the highly successful MTC2 and MTC2R platform. The prototype was first raced at the 2024 IFMAR World Championship, where the two MTC3’s entered in the event both made the A final in its first event with Ronald Volker finishing 4th and Jacob Cruz finishing 10th. Below is a list of features and details for the Mugen Seiki MTC3 1/10th Electric Touring Car.
The MTC3 features improve handling, tuning, and laptimes.
- New 1.5mm Aluminium Chassis.
o used with standard type screws only
o The new chassis provides a wider range of torsion stiffness adjustments to be able to tune for all track conditions.
o The new chassis eliminates the need for a carbon chassis option.
o Lower center of gravity for improved cornering. (0.5mm and 0.7mm respectively)
o The chassis design has less overhang to provide more clearance and reducess the chance of the chassis touching the racing surface.
- New Shock and Upper Arm Angle Adjustability.
o No shims needed. No shims to be misplaced.
o Quicker and easier to make adjustments.
- New Adjustable Layshaft Height.
o Allows you to use the spur gear lowest position possible.
o Ability to use 90T spur gear for a large range of categorys and track conditions.
o Better weight distribution.
- New Upper Decks
o Allows the upper bulkhead plates be removed.
o Easy access differential, without dissasembling anything else beside the rear upperdeck
o New more compact bulkheads.
- Shock Towers
o New shock tower screw directly tot he bulkheads. (No additional parts needed)
